Order Confirmation
All online orders received will
be confirmed by e-mail from Black Mountains Smokery and payment will be confirmed
on a second e-mail from Protx.
Overseas Customers
We deliver within the UK only
but are delighted to accept orders from overseas customers for delivery within the
UK.
Substitutions
On the rare occasion of a product not being available we reserve
the right to substitute items of a similar or greater value but we will always endeavour
to contact you first. If we need to part ship your order delivery charge on any
extra shipments will be at our cost.
Payment
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard,
JCB, Maestro, Switch & Solo Payment is processed by our payment provider “Protx”.
General Delivery
Orders will normally be dispatched within 3 working days (Monday
to Wednesday) of receipt of your order by a next day delivery service. Friday to
Sunday deliveries are excluded to ensure that your order is delivered within the
working week.
Please note we are closed on all UK Bank Holidays and all UK Public
Holidays.
Exceptions
Orders for the weekend will be dispatched on Wednesday for
delivery Thursday/ Friday. Orders for Monday will be dispatched on Monday to arrive
Tuesday/ Wednesday or sent to arrive in time for the weekend prior to it. UK Bank
Holidays & Public Holidays and days each side of them will be excluded for delivery.
Delivery Arrangements
Please use a delivery address where goods can be signed for.
At the checkout you will be asked to include recipient’s telephone number and any
drop off / delivery / directions instructions.

Christmas Deliveries
We make special arrangements to cope with the Christmas demand:
Last Orders:
Goods
required for pre-Christmas delivery MUST be ordered by 11th December.
Christmas
Dispatch:
Orders required for the week ending 15th December will be dispatched from
11th – 13th December. Orders required for the week ending 22nd December will be
dispatched from 18th – 20th December.
Delivery on a specific day during this period
cannot be guaranteed.
New Year Orders
Orders for the New Year period must be dispatched
prior to Christmas. Please see notes above. The first delivery after the New Year
will be earliest 10th December when we have been able to produce fresh stock after
the holiday period.
Alterations & Cancellations
We can accept alterations to
an order by e-mail or phone as long as it has not been packed ready for dispatch.
Non-Delivery Occasionally some packages can be delayed or even undelivered by the
courier. Please contact us as soon as you have any concerns about your parcel. The
quicker we know the better. Black Mountains Smokery cannot be held responsible for
parcels that are undelivered or mis-routed due to incorrect addresses given by the
customer.
Unsatisfied?
Please tell us why you are not satisfied. If we agree we
will do all we can to improve and we will be happy to make you a refund for the
value of the goods with a deduction for postal charges. Or we will resend your order
with amendments for which we reserve the right to re-charge for packaging and postage
costs.

photogaphy is a good indication of the actual product and gift packaging, where
